About the Author

Hello there, and welcome to my little corner of the Internet! 

My name is Anna Black, or, if you want to use an "authorish" name, A.I.Black. 

So, who am I, really? 

• First and Foremost, I am a Christian, a sinner who has been saved by Grace alone, through Faith alone, in Christ alone, and I believe in the truth and power of Biblical scripture. 
• I am a writer! I'm currently in pursuit of my BA in Creative Writing (specialization in fiction), and I like to write mainly middle grade/children's/YA fiction -- I can't decide on a single audience because I like to write for that "in-between" stage where readers are no longer challenged or interested by children's fiction, but are a bit too young for teen/YA fiction.
• I'm a homeschoool alumna, and proud of it! 
• I play the flute (I studied privately for about 9 years, and was in several bands and orchestras) and a small amount of piano. 
• I am married to a fantastic man who is the love of my life, and who understands me probably better than I understand myself -- I mean, he began his pursuit of me with a chocolate cake! There was no way a plan including chocolate cake could go wrong. (More about our story in this post and this post.)
  
• I wear a lot of earth tones
• Roses are my favorite flower
• My character alignment is True Neutral, apparently????? I have taken 2 quizzes and got the same answer, so...\_('-')_/
• I have three brothers and two sisters, and they're awesome
• I still love Winnie the Pooh, and I will ALWAYS love Winnie the Pooh
