I just took a look at your 'new and improved' blog--the title should convince my bros that blogging is indeed not boring and not girly. ;)

Ah, good idea! It's kind of worse in Civil Air Patrol because you want to look all cool and all that and being clumsy makes you feel like a newbie. :D

Even really lame books can teach you things, I guess.

I hope to get my blog back on line today. I'll probably post the tag a few days after. If you want to, I could tag you for it. Basically you answer a set of questions and make up a set of your own and then have other bloggers answer them.

Facebook as a blog alternative? Do they understand what blogger is? You better convince them. They're missing out. And no, it's not a girly thing.

You should tell them they don't want to blog because apparently they're very boring and having nothing interesting to tell the world about their skills and talents and thoughts.

Andyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08555485540851099808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6088293107826493640.post-78795105558329461172017-08-17T18:11:37.231-04:002017-08-17T18:11:37.231-04:00Well, hello there Andrew!

In the checkout lane, during a busy time...sigh...I sure hope that cashier isn't working at that particular Meijer anymore and that nobody will ever recognize me as "that kid who exploded the milk carton."

Yeah, the first few times we saw "The Lego Movie" we thought "Brickowski" was an allusion to something else, but one of us was leafing through the hideous junior novelization of the movie at a store once and discovered that Emmet does, in fact, have a last name!

A secret blog-tag-thing-a-ma-jig project? Hmm...interesting...and yes, I do need to make them start blogs. But...they're all like, "Blogging is for girls," or "I have Facebook [ick] so I don't need a blog." :) Maybe I can convince them eventually...

Thanks for dropping in! I've had similar stories with soft drinks at restaurants, but that tops it. :D Though there has probably been worse that I don't recall right now.
I know how that feels though.

I never knew that Emmet had a last name. I thought Mr. Business was just referencing some other movie! You can never stop learning, that's for sure.

I am actually working on a tag at my blog. Its private right now because I'm remodeling and renaming it.

You need to get your bros to start their own blogs, btw.Andyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08555485540851099808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6088293107826493640.post-79248937474469354342017-07-12T19:28:06.791-04:002017-07-12T19:28:06.791-04:00I sure done did it! Actually, my mother pointed out the similarity between me and Jo when she was braiding my hair once upon a time. I didn't really agree at that time, but now...Also Jo and I both have a talent for not thinking before we talk--just thinking afterwards and hating ourselves for saying what we said!

YES, thank you! So I'm not crazy! The comments about this post have proved that I am not the only person who relates very much to Pippin! Hooray! (Yes, the milk carton story is true. It was terrible. Here I was, trying to be so helpful and load groceries into the cart, and then SPLOOSH! There goes the milk, like a milk-flavored bomb. Oh well.

You definitely need to read 100 Cupboards!!!!!! It's soooooooo good!!!! (I know what you mean about crying...yeah, it's Somewhat Necessary, but Very Embarrassing when you do it in front of other people or when you want to stop.)

"I'm dark and brooding too!" *gasp!* "Hey look guys, a rainbow!!" :D

Ooh, I look forward to reading that! :)
Anna Blackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11921015358175781215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6088293107826493640.post-61255302128004344702017-07-12T17:35:41.285-04:002017-07-12T17:35:41.285-04:00You did the post! :D Yay!

(I'm still jealous of your hair. haha)

PIPPIN. I relate to him, too. Especially whenever he does something stupid. (Is that milk carton story true?)

I definitely need to read 100 Cupboards... (You hate crying? I don't LOVE it, but I feel as if it's a Very Necessary Thing in life. :P)

Awwwwww. Emmett is the best. :D

I really need to do this tag soon, too! I'm glad.

Yes, I discovered another thing in common with Jo just a couple of days ago--we both tend to have clothes in a perpetual state of disarray and decay. Hm. That's the problem with not ever growing out of things any more; they wear out! :)

Ha! Pippin appears in pretty much everything! And I still can't decide if he or Frodo or Merry or Sam (or Bilbo...) is my favorite hobbit! It's too hard. I really did drop that milk carton. It wasn't fun.

I would recommend "100 Cupboards" to ANYBODY looking for a good fantasy book. N.D. Wilson is an incredible author--all the characters are so real, and he's funny, too! And "The Lego Movie" is just a fun, cute adventure with Legos. If you like Legos, then you'd probably like that movie. Emmet is kind of pitiful, but he's so relatable too! :)
Anna Blackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11921015358175781215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6088293107826493640.post-11379022492578335822017-06-30T17:06:32.117-04:002017-06-30T17:06:32.117-04:00ANNA! I enjoyed it immensely!! :D

You really do sound like you have a lot in common with Jo March. :)

And PIPPIN!! I'm not even sure why, but I had a feeling Pippin was going to appear in this post! Heehee. ;) Good old Pippin. He's the best! (Well, you know. One of the best. I can't really decide between him and the other hobbits. I just like all of them!! ;))

But oh! That story about dropping the milk carton in the grocery store aisle!! Did you really do that? Poor Anna! :( I can really sympathize with you on that one. I mean, I once tipped over the entire grocery cart when I was around eight or nine because I was hanging onto the side of it. *gulp* That was soooo embarrassing!! :P

You're right. I don't know who Henrietta Willis is. Thanks for the introduction. She sounds like a cool person. :) "We like to be strong and able to take care of ourselves and others but not be feminists." Yeah, just skip the feminist part, right? Hahaha. ;P

Emmet sounds like a cool character too! I've never seen "The Lego Movie", but wow. I can totally relate to the "just tell me exactly what to do and how to do it". That is SO me. ;)Miss Marchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03088465083055515308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6088293107826493640.post-42938460256798420702017-06-30T16:25:31.841-04:002017-06-30T16:25:31.841-04:00Great, thanks! :) I hope you have fun!Great, thanks! :) I hope you have fun!Anna Blackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11921015358175781215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6088293107826493640.post-69227089534244322952017-06-30T16:25:01.679-04:002017-06-30T16:25:01.679-04:00You're welcome!
